VOLUNTEER POSITION(S)

Buddies Coordinator volunteer

Looking for someone who is well organized, Internet/e-mail savvy, personable, who would like to coordinate the WPC 2016 Buddies Program for WPC 2016 in Portland, Oregon. Read more about the Buddies Program that was launched for the WPC 2013. WPC 2013 Buddies Program.  Must be someone who has attended a past WPC and ideally who is aware of the Buddies program. Would consider a team of coordinators for this role.

Location: Anywhere

Compensation: Volunteer position, but coordinator will be supported to attend the WPC 2016.

Time commitment: From December 2015 to end of September 2016. 10 months.

Social Media volunteer

Looking for someone with professional training/skill in social media/marketing to help the WPC improve and expand upon its current social media platforms. Must be someone with professional experience in this area with a keen understanding of how to increase and grow a presence in a variety of social media outlets, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram and others.

Must have a keen sense of the tools that exist to simplify and expand the current reach we have online and we'd also like to find someone with a passion to work with, and for, the Parkinson's community.

Location: Anywhere

Compensation: Volunteer position, but coordinator will be supported to attend the WPC 2016.

Time commitment: From September 2015 to end of September 2016. 10 months.
