The WPC 2013 provides the forum for all members of the global Parkinson's community to network.
Listed below are just a few of the social networking events happening over the four days of the Congress. These are either organized by the WPC or at the request of the WPC.

 

SINGING Event

MOVEMENT Event

Do you enjoying movement activities? Pamela Quinn, the WPC 2010 Video Competition co-winner will be hosting a short movement activity for all who are interested in participating. Easy to learn and fun to do! Write to Pam at pamelag.quinn54@gmail.com.

Networking cocktail hour for those interested in fitness and dance for PD.  Meet others working in the field or interested in helping delay the progression of PD through various fitness modalities

Open to Physical Therapists who have registered for the WPC
Meet physiotherapists from around the world and learn about their physiotherapy services being implemented for people with Parkinson's. Network with other PTs, help build a tighter global community of PTs working in the world of Parkinson's, and leave the WPC better prepared to care for your patients.

Open to Speech Language Pathologists who have registered for the WPC

Please join us as we gather speech clinicians from around the globe and spend some time networking and sharing our experiences of working with people with Parkinson disease. Maintaining communication is such an important part of successfully living with Parkinson disease and it is important for our professional community to unite in this battle.

We are inviting all social workers who are attending the Congress to join us on October 3 to an informal networking event. This will be an opportunity to meet social workers from around the world and learn from one another. It will be a time to collaborate, educate and share our ideas and challenges.
