The third World Parkinson Congress in 2013 will offer medical professionals an incredible opportunity to join forces with the rest of the Parkinson's community—including doctors, researchers, rehabilitation professionals, people with Parkinson's, care partners, and government representatives from around the world. Working together, we hope to make strides towards finding a cure as well as identifying the best treatment practices for this devastating disease.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to build relationships with people, both inside and outside of your field, who are dedicated to winning the fight against PD.

The WPC will feature an extensive program of plenary sessions, symposia, and workshops with presentations and discussions devoted to prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and the future of Parkinson's research. Workshops will address everything from basic scientific research and translational and clinical science, to models of care delivery and national and international approaches to curing Parkinson's. The Congress will also provide opportunities to complete coursework for CME credits.

The third World Parkinson Congress in 2013 promises to grow on the success and enthusiams of the first two WPCs. For the third time, doctors, researchers, rehab professionals, care partners, and people with Parkinson's disease will gather in one place to share knowledge, exchange resources, and develop collaborative relationships in order to identify the best treatment practices and to ultimately find a cure for Parkinson's.

For people with Parkinson's, the WPC is not only a new source of hope and excitement for the future, but a unique and practical opportunity to participate hands-on in the global fight against Parkinson's. Join the community and submit a 'Living with PD' Abstract letting the world know about the work you are doing in your community or perhaps you would consider submitting a short video about Parkinson's to be shown at the WPC. The Congress will feature an extensive program of plenary sessions, symposia, and workshops with presentations and discussions devoted to established and best treatment options, quality of life and care delivery issues, and the latest scientific research from around the world.

Learn about helpful cutting edge research, promising therapies, clinical trials, and valuable strategies for living a with increase quality of life. Discuss workplace and insurance issues, advocacy, and the economics of family care or maybe you are interested in exchanging information with other people with Parkinson's, physicians, and caregivers who share your interests.
