Traveling Information
Glasgow is easily reached from all parts of the UK with excellent road links and frequent trains. Two of Scotland's major airports, Glasgow Prestwick (PIK) and Glasgow (GLA) are just 20 minutes drive from the city center with frequent domestic services to London and other UK destinations. For those traveling from outside the UK, there are direct, scheduled flights to over 30 international destinations within Europe, North America and beyond.
Air Travel
Continental Airlines and AirCanada are both offering discounts to WPC 2010 travelers who book flights via their respective websites for travel. Please see below for details on the discount offers.
Continental Airlines is offering 2% to 10% discounts off published fares or Zone fares for WPC delegates who choose to fly Continental to and from the WPC 2010 using either the Glasgow or Edinburgh airports. (Edinburgh is 45 minutes by car from Glasgow.) Flights can be booked up to three days before the meeting begins (Sept. 25, 2010 through three days after it ends (Oct. 4, 2010). To secure a discount you can either:

AirCanada is the official Canadian airline for the WPC 2010. Travel on AirCanada can take place up to one week before the meeting begins (Sept 21, 2010) and will continue to one week after the Congress ends (October 8, 2010).
